Recreate Britney's Look: Baby One More Time

Of all the things Britney has worn over the past decade, this outfit definitely stands out in my mind -- and it will certainly make you stand out for Halloween this year! From the hair feathers to the old school mary janes, we've got you covered so you can be sure to get everything you need to become the pop princess for a day.

What you will need:
Black Pleated Skirt: I found this one at Old Navy -- and if you buy it now it's on sale! It has the perfect pleats, and has the length and rise of the skirt Britney wore in the music video.
White Button-Down Shirt: You can find a classic white button down anywhere these days, but I found what looks to be a good fitted one at Old Navy too. Another good place to look is your local thrift store. They always have tons of them for sale!
Maroon Top: This part isn't a total necessity, but I really think it completes the Britney schoolgirl look. American Apparel has a fantastic little mini tube top that would go perfect under your button-down shirt without looking bulky underneath. Make sure you get it the color Cranberry!
Grey Knee-High Socks: Chinese Laundry has the cutest grey knee high socks edged with a little lace. Very cute! You can find them online here at AbsoluteSocks.com.
Grey Cardigan: Target has a fantastic grey cashmere cardigan for a decent price. For some reason, grey cardigans are totally in this year -- so this might be where you want to invest in a quality piece that you can continue to wear long after All Hallow's Eve.
Black Mary Janes: You can find these at ANY shoe store. I promise you! But if you are shopping online, there is a cute pair of patent leather flat mary jane's that will do the trick.
Hairbands: OnlineDancewear.com sells pairs of maribou feather hair ties -- and they even come in the color pink. It's the icing on the cake of your outfit -- and will definitely ensure that sexy schoolgirl vibe ala Miss Brit!
