    Celebuzz: Land on Letterman, Britney!

    As more goodies continue to shake out of Britney Spears' comeback bag, we at Celebuzz can't help but ask a small favor of the Circus promotional machine.

    For her first Late Night appearance, we humbly request Britney cut the talk show ribbon with David Letterman.

    Why? The drama of an evening magazine show ala 60 Minutes or Dateline is too heavy for such an exciting point in the pop star's life.

    Leno is in contract Siberia, Conan O'Brien is a bit too cheeky and Craig Ferguson is just a bit past our bedtime. Besides, Dave and Brit have always had something special.

    Their legacy has always made headlines, from her announcement of her second pregnancy in March 2006, then stopping by eight months later to show off her killer bod and hype Blackout.

    Give us the next chapter, Brit, in the story of you and Dave!

      Craig Ferguson was the only late night dude to chastise the others for using Brit as the brunt of the jokes. So if it is late nighter make it Craig otherwise Ellen all the way. The Big O will only ask in depth questions that she might not be ready for. Ellen will be kind and allow Brit to decide how the conversation goes. BABY STEPS!

      I'd like to see her make an appearance on Ellen or Oprah. Preferably Ellen though. She's alot of fun and very laid-back. Oprah is sometimes fun as well.. but well, you know their shows are different.

      At first, everything still seemed uneasy to me, but from what I can tell she's moving greatly. She really pulled herself together. She looks beautiful in those pics, for her "NEW" album, Circus. LOOK AT THAT SMILE! How can you not love her:D

      I don't agree with Ellen on...well...almost everything, but I'd like Britney to get on her show because I trust Ellen to treat her well, and not ask cruel, personal questions. Ellen's always so kind, and Britney could just relax and have fun. But I'm rather protective, so...

      She deserves to be on Oprah for this one! I can not stomach the fact taht these late night hosts just a few months ago bashed her every chance they got and cracked every joke they could at her expense.. while she was in a midst of her life where she just needed out of the spotlight for awhile ... to reward any of those losers with an apperance on their show to boost ratings is WRONG!!!!
      I would love to watch an hour of Britney on Oprah.. I think that letterman, conan.. ect.. are too sleezy for something so anticipated!!! OPRAH!!!

      She should conduct her first interview with whom ever SHE feels comfortable with. I believe that she will touch on some emotive times during the past twelve months and it is crucial that the host is well versed in knowing when the subject matter is very sensitive.       I think Britney should have her first interview back with 20/20's, "Barbara Walter's!" Even though Barbara is no longer part of 20/20 she sometimes comes back to do special interviews. It would be great to see them both together. And I personally like Barbara Walter's, she's such a great speaker. Britney should do it up right by doing it 20/20 style. I mean, they did premiere, "Womanizer" for her on their show. Why not do an interview there as well...? Plus it wouldn't be her first interview with Barbara, so it wouldn't be that uncomfortable.

      It would be great to also see Britney on Oprah and Tyra as well! But first 20/20!

      I totally agree about not doing dateline, It was so weird that she premiered Womanizer there of all places its too old people-ish lol! If I had to choose I would say Dave for evening and definately Ellen for morning she always seems to have fun there and its always funny! Conan is too a.d.d. and Jimmy rags on her alot including his loud mouth obnoxious girlfriend! But I cant wait to see her first performance, SO EXCITED!

      Um, Brit never promoted Blackout. Not on Letterman or any other kind of promotion, for that matter. It was only a 1-minute talk with Ryan Seacrest on the radio. Yet it did so well! :) Brit went on Letterman to announce that she was pregnant for the second time with JJ in mid-2006 and than in November 2006, 2 months after JJ was born and the same week she divorced Kevin.

      I understand some of how you must feel. I went through a meltdown in 2000, and was hospitalized for a time. I lost absolutely everything.
