    Womanizer Debuts At #4 In UK

    "Womanizer" debuted at #4 on the UK Singles chart on Sunday. That's quite a feat considering the song is currently only available for digital download and has sold 46,000 copies. The CD single will be released on November 24 so there's still a chance we'll see "Womanizer" at the top of the UK Charts. 

    After all the buzz about the battle of the songstresses (Britney, Christina, Leona and Beyonce all going head to head) only Beyonce managed to compete with our Brit, making it to #2. 

    If you haven't already, make sure you download "Womanizer" from iTunes UK and mark your calendars for November 24 so you remember to pick up a copy of the CD single!

      What a great come-back song, Top 5 in the UK is brilliant on downloads only! It's a shame one-time rival X-Tina could not bite the dust debuting in the UK at #14! Thats ten places down from Britney, I'm pretty sure Brit is enjoying the view from the top of the charts, it's a shame X-Tina is drowning at the bottom end of the top 15.

      Britney good luck with the comeback we all know you are the real pop princess!

      I don't know why they didn't release the song on single format originally....I haven't bought it simply because with Brit stuff, being a fan and all, I like to have the first single in physical view, then the album that follows....Its like a little collectors thing I got going on. So i'll have to wait till the 24th I guess....Or even if they released it this week (a week after the release). I know they're phasing out singles but still, for those who wish to buy them are being forced to do download instead. There should be an option really.... dunno what anyone else thinks???
