    'Circus' tops Billboard Charts, breaks record

    I'm freaking out-of-my-mind ecstatic to report that Britney's 'Circus' is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, making this her fifth No. 1 album.

    Our birthday wish for her almost came true as she as sold 505,000 copies in the U.S., making her the first artist in Nielsen SoundScan history to have four albums debut with 500,000 or more.

    Hell to the yeah!

    Stay tuned as Billboard releases their Hot 100 tomorrow--Britney's single 'Circus' is set to debut at No. 3--her first top 10 debut.

    Brit is unstoppable.

      I just wanna know 1 thing, This goes for everyone, not just brit brit (i love you) but why do the fans, when giving out thank yous or acknowledgements, get same thank yous? i mean they artists do put in the work but dont we rocket them high?? im sorry just a little bit of acknowledgement would be nice.       The numbers are offically in. "Circus" is the number 11 album in the country with 505,073 copies sold it's first week.

      Her second single, "Circus" is #1 on the Billboard's Hot Digital Songs chart, selling more than 210,000 copies!

      ACTUALLY, technically "Circus" is her 6th #1 album since "Blackout" debuted at #1 but was then bumped down to #2 once Nielsen Soundscan decided at the last minute to allow albums exclusively sold at Wal-Mart (in this case The Eagles Greatest Hits) to become part of the Billboard 200 Charts. And it's good to see she made history AGAIN =)

      that just proves a point, most of her albums have hit the top spot and we all knew circus wasn't going to be any different. Britney is just fantastic she without a doubt deserves it!!
