Round Four: Your 'Circus' Reviews

It's day three of your Circus reviews and today I'm posting your thoughts on "Womanizer," "Circus," and "Mannequin."
'Womanizer'
"This is such a woman-empowering song! I absolutely love this song. I like how in the song, she knows 'what you are' ;) and she's not going to tolerate it anymore. How many women out there are stuck in a relationship with a 'Womanizer' but they never find it in themselves to get up, and leave? I think this song helps a lot of women everywhere. Not to mention, the chorus is as catchy as ever!" -- Amanda

"What I love about 'Womanizer' is that it's written by the Outsyders. Britney's always been willing to work with unknown or up-and-coming producers to propel them into stardom, whether it's Bloodshy and Avant ('Toxic'), Josh and Brian ('Britney' songs), or Redzone ('Me Against the Music'). It's great to see her continuing that tradition with Womanizer, which is a fantastic track that's great for dancing or singing along to! Shows that pop can still be edgy and interesting." -- Alex

'Circus'

"'Circus', the second single, is my favorite song off the album. It's just has an amazing beat, that makes you wanna be the center of attention. When I listen to it, I imagine myself in the center of a circus ring with wild animals around me. I think that when I listen to this song, I could make a fire light up...I really love 'Circus', and the breakdown beat makes me wanna dance. Definitely one of Britney's best songs, that deserves to be number 1, all the way." -- Jean-Philippe

The song makes me move and jump whenever I hear it and the words to the song bring me to another level, like when she sings "All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus". 'Mannequin'
"If it hasn't been clear since day one, Britney reiterates the fact that she won't change for anybody. 'Mannequin' is a fun, bombastic song about doing 'what she likes' and having us follow along, and we'll surely 'like it'. Make no mistakes, Britney's not catching a Divatude with us -- she just knows who she is." -- Bret
"'Mannequin' is by far my favorite track off the album. The beat is sick, it makes you wanna pump up the volume really loud so you can feel the bass. The lyrics are so true for what she is doing with her life, her career, and her future. 'If you wanna just scream, scream your lungs out, while I'm doing my thing....' She won't stop, and anyone that tries won't succeed because she will always and forever be number 1." -- Shaun
"When you turn on 'Mannequin' your senses run wild with all the creative sounds flowing in your ear. This is Britney's most innovative track yet and is a perfect step for 'Circus.' This is one of my favorite tracks of the album and of the year." -- Mtta H

"Every once in a while a song comes into play and redefines the music industry. Songs like Rhianna's 'Umbrella', Usher's 'Yeah,' and our very own Brit Brit's 'Toxic' come into mind. Enter 'Mannequin.' By far the best track from Circus (and that is no easy feat given the strength of all the tracks), 'Mannequin' grabs your attention from the opening note. As I listen to my iPod on my way to class, I find myself dancing rather than walking. The song showcases Britney's full vocal range and has a great dance breakdown segment. There is nothing out there like this song. You can scream your lungs out or cry yours eyes out, but your face too is going to be like a mannequin once you've finished listening to this song (over and over again)." -- Chris
"There is something about this song that literally hypnotises me! The wide range of vocals make the song fun to sing along to and the wicked beat makes it even better to dance to." -- Pete
