Then (and I'm not sure if this is second) Jennifer Lopez did it in her "Waiting For Tonight" video before Britney did "Toxic"...

But who the fuck cares who did what first. As long as they made it look great & sexy. Inspiration comes from many places and almost everything has been done already, it's just a matter of making it unique to you when you do it!

i totally agree, the outfit looks like the toxic outfit in the music video and also lady gaga's hair looks like Britney's hair in the "circus" video, curled up and stuff.

I'm confused. I thought Quicksand was not a legit song according to Lady Gaga on WOB.com. I don't see it on her new Circus Album. Can someone confirm that?

That is what i thought!!!! when i saw the video (i think it was yesterday...), i could not believe that she did it! I LOVE both artists, but you know ... you can never beat the one who put it out in the first place!
I prefer Britney Spears in it rather than Gaga, but Gaga still looks amazing :P.. no i love them both. grrr kk they both look good in it!

i love gaga, and the video was so much like britney and madonna, but shes talented, shes gonna be her own little star, of course britney will always be our favorite, brightest star : )

It is sad to see this great song peaking at #12 in UK, Circus sould be at least top 10. Now is #16 on Uk Itunes, will be difficult to get the top 10. Today was the physical release it is the only chance to get the top 10.
