The North American leg of the tour started March 3 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is the highest grossing tour of 2009 in North America to date. After her show on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Britney had a party with the Pussycat Dolls as well as her dancers, aerialists, circus performers and other tour friends. The party took place at a family friend's condo at the Palms Hotel.  Brett, Britney's assistant, said the DJ was fantastic, and superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold stopped by to visit. There was cotton candy everywhere, as well as lots of miniature snacks and desserts.  The condo had an amazing view of Las Vegas - party goers could see the entire city!

Last Thursday night, one lucky fan, Robert, proposed to his girlfriend, Zoyla, on the 'Circus' stage in Los Angeles!

Robert contacted Adam, Britney's Manager, and asked him if he could help with the proposal. Adam happily arranged the on-stage access, adding, "We are always trying to take care of Britney's fans- we truly appreciate them!"

Have you wondered what the VIP experience on Britney's Circus tour is like? BritneySpears.com has a behind-the-scenes look into the Toxic VIP Experience.

Arrival

The Toxic VIP experience begins at 4:15 when the VIPs check-in and receive their tickets, a VIP lanyard, a wristband for floor access, 2 drink vouchers, and an assortment of hard candy.  From that point, they are escorted to the VIP room and greeted at the door by several of the wonderful Big Apple Circus performers.

The VIP Room

The VIP Room is fully decorated with circus posters, banners, costumes, balloons, glitter, etc. Once inside the VIP room, an arrangement of finger foods is available and several mix CD's play in the background that include the entire 'Circus' album and other recent Top 40 hits.

The Backstage Tour

At 5:15, groups are given backstage tours that last about 15 minutes. The VIPs see the stage, quick change area, catering, loading dock, wardrobe, offices, male dressing room, and various props and stage pieces that are in the hallways. The highlight of the tours are the quick change, wardrobe, and seeing the performers from the show.

Dinner

At 5:30, dinner and dessert are rolled out for the VIPs, while each group completes their tour. In the meantime, popcorn and cotton candy is served.  Throughout the party, the circus performers go table-to-table introducing themselves. They do magic tricks, teach hula hoop, and make  balloon animals.   Some of the dancers also stop by to say hi!

Some of you have been telling us how much you love Britney's shorts in this photo, and have asked where you can get a pair of your very own. These shorts are made by True Religion, and the style is the "Joey" Cutoff Shorts.  Naturally, Britney's shoes are by Candies.

On Tuesday night, Britney made the dance floor her stage at Lotus in Dallas, Texas.  All of Britney's dancers, band, circus performers, hair and makeup artists, management, tour management and more joined her to relax and celebrate their hard work on the tour.
