Britney Spears has the best fans in the entire world.  Here's just a few of the many reasons:

*You voted so that Britney won two NRJ Awards (for Best International Female Artist and Music Video of the Year for 'Womanizer').

*You uploaded close to 5,000 photos in less than 24 hours for a chance to be featured in the Circus Tour program. Wow!

Thank you from BritneySpears.com.... you all rock!

What Britney's Listening To...

Posted under Blog, Featured, Music on January 14, 2009

Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for Katy-Perry.jpgWe just heard Britney has been rocking out to Katy Perry's CD 'One of the Boys' ever since she bought it when she was at home in Kentwood.

Britney's friend offered to burn her the CD but she was so excited she wanted to buy it herself.

And Katy's into Britney, too: Back in November she praised Britney in a Star Magazine interview.

Official 'Circus' Download Day

Posted under Blog, Music on January 12, 2009

Steven at WorldofBritney.com came up with the fantastic idea of holding an official 'Circus' download day today. And as Britney's official site, obviously we fully support this idea. Our friend BRITannica over at Britney.com is supporting the idea, too. Head on over to iTunes to download 'Circus' now!

Meet The Tour Team

Posted under Blog, Dance, Music on January 12, 2009

You've heard stories on the Internet  about the talent set to work on Britney's tour - now, we at Britney Spears.com are ready to officially announce the amazing team who have joined the 'Circus!'

Without further ado we give you Britney's 'Circus' tour team:

Tour Director: Jamie King
jamie-king.jpgJamie has worked with Britney in the past, as director and co-choreographer for her 'Oops, I Did It Again' tour back in 2000 and also on the 'Stronger' music video. Jamie was also director and choreographer of Brit's American Music Awards performance in 2001 and the infamous Britney/Madonna/Christina 'The Kiss' performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. Considering Jamie also directed five of Madonna's tours, including last year's 'Sticky And Sweet Tour,' I think it's safe to say that this tour is going to be hot! Check out the video below to see Jamie's previous tours resume and visit his website for more info.

Musical Director: Simon Ellis

Simon Ellis is the musical director of Britney's upcoming tour. A Brit himself, Simon has worked with legendary British artists including The Spice Girls, S Club 7, Steps, Hearsay and East 17. Most recently, Simon directed the Spice Girls' 2008 reunion tour, which Simon Fuller, creator of American Idol and Pop Idol, described as "genius."

JaQuel Knight has joined the tour team as contributing choreographer! Why am I so excited, you ask? Because JaQuel choregraphed Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' music video! Talk about genius moves.

Contributing Choreographer: Tony Testa

Tony Testa is also joining the tour as contributing choreographer. Tony Testa worked with Britney on her recent 'Circus' promo tour in Japan, so we've already gotten a taste of what he can do. Tony has also worked with artists such as  Beyonce, Janet Jackson, and Danity Kane.

Check out the video to see more of Tony:

Dreya Weber: Aerial Choreographer

Good luck to everyone on Britney's tour team. We can't wait to see what amazing things you have in store for us!

Posted under Blog, Music on January 12, 2009

Now that the Circus third single has been announced, I just can't wait for a music video. All I know is that it will be HOTTT!

A few of you have been sending us ideas and suggestions for an 'If U Seek Amy' music video, and I love them... so here is the official call for your ideas!

I want more than just a few words. I want you to SHOW me your concept. Make me a storyboard! The image above is an example done by pro Jeff Errico for Britney's 'Do Something' music video.

Send your storyboard to BritneySpearsDotCom@gmail.com and I will post the very best here on the site.
