How awesome is the video above? I love how Lauren Ruth and Nick McCarvel rewrote Britney's hit '"Piece of Me" and made it into a Christmas song. In fact, I love the idea so much that I'm challenging you to try and outdo these treehuggers.

Rewrite one of Britney's songs and make it into something related to the holidays -- Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, magical snowmen, or even that lump of coal that you know you are going to find in your stocking, you naughty things!

As we at Celebuzz prepare to break bread with family and indulge in insane caloric content, we can't help but reflect on how thankful we are for all for all the exciting things coming up from Britney Spears: album, tour, MTV tell-all's and the like.

Also, we applaud her for how she's spending her Thanksgiving, by giving legions of foreign fans a performance!

On Monday, the Britster left with father Jamie Spears and manager Larry Rudolph to begin international Circus promotion. After a quick stop in Germany, she'll head to France for an appearance on variety show Star Academy, then a jaunt to jolly England for Simon Cowell's X Factor.

There's something classy and throwback, we feel, about the out-of-town tryout. We'd rather Brit work out any kinks abroad, as when she brings it for the December 2 record release we can look forward to flawless execution.

Circus the album is coming out on Tuesday, of course -- but Britney's second single "Circus" will premiere on Friday, December 5 on Entertainment Tonight. The show aired a small clip of the music video today.

Now we know why she was wearing hats at dance rehearsal. :)
