Brazillians Celebrate Britney's Anniversary

Posted under Music, Videos on November 8, 2008

Britney's 10 year anniversary was a little while ago, but her Brazilian Fan Club just sent us this amazing video and we had to share with everyone!

The group held a an awesome anniversary party for Brit. Super fan Sergio was at the party and he says, "The 10 year party was INCREDIBLE! More than 4,000 fans of our princess were present to honor it and enjoy the night!"

Britney impersonator Francine Porto was there to entertain, and she really brought all of the fans together. Listen to everyone singing in unison!

Thanks to Britney.com.br and all of Britney's Brazillian fans for all of the love and support!!

The World's First 'Circus' Review

Posted under Blog, Music on November 7, 2008

The Sun newspaper in the U.K. have posted the world's first review of Circus! I must say I'm a tad bit jealous that Mr. Gordon Smart got to hear it before me. Here's what Mr. Smart says about four of Brit's album tracks:

If U Seek Amy: "It's a great track. A stomping robo pop number with clattering kettle drums and Brit being quite frank about the opinion she holds of herself."

Kill The Lights:  '"Kill The Lights" focuses on the star's relationship with the paparazzi, the lights referring to flash bulbs. It's a brilliant disco banger with an elastic bass line and plenty of spooky keyboard work. During Kill The Lights Brit addresses her camera-toting tormentors with the brilliant line: "Is that money in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?"

Circus: "The collection's title track sees Brit morphing ever closer to MADONNA. Circus has more than a passing resemblance to the industrial hip-hop-powered tracks on Hard Candy.

Out From Under: "It's a stirring break-up ballad up there with the best."

Smart by name, smart by nature, Gordon!! Thanks for the rave review! I can't wait to hear it myself!

Lance Bass: Stoked For Britney's Comeback

Posted under Music on November 7, 2008

Lance Bass and Britney Spears have been friends since waaaay back when N'Sync and Britney toured together -- and he's apparently just as excited as we are for her return to the pop throne.

"I am totally stoked to see Britney come back," he said to MTV. "I think it's going to be one of the biggest comebacks you've ever seen. It's not even a comeback -- she's always been around -- but I think, personally, she's ready to explode again."

Well, we KNOW that Britney is ready to explode again! I knew Lance was always my favorite N'Syncer for a reason -- he's so supportive of his pal Brit! Tell us, do you have a fav member of N'Sync and would you like to see them make a comeback?

Socialite Life: Britney's Musical Time Capsule

It's funny how a song can capture a moment in time so perfectly. Remember when "Oops!...I Did It Again" was first released followed with a sexy video of a Britney from the future?

The futuristic setting of a planet where Britney and her followers spent their days dancing reminds us how excited and scared we were about entering the strange new era of 2000. Luckily, though, we had Britney to assure us that we should party like it was 2000!

Even though Britney wasn't on the soundtrack of the wildly successful film Titanic, she managed to forever imprint her stamp on the phenomenon by referencing the Heart of the Ocean necklace dropped into the sea. Of course a love-struck astronaut would find it and present it to her in the hopes of winning her heart.

Wouldn't you?

Thanks to our friends at SocialiteLife.com
